In celebration of the "World Teacher's Month" this October 2011, the Coalition for Better Education, in partnership with Stairs Production, Inc. (a theatrical and event management in Manila) will be staging the play entitled "ANG GURO", a comical-drama story that tells about the different stories of teachers, who make boundless influences, leadership and genuine commitment to ordinary individuals.

The show will be staged on November 25,2011 at SM City Cebu-Cinema 2 between 10:00AM, 2:00PM & 6:00PM. Ticket costs P225.00 each.

A Christmas tree which has been decked out with US$11 million U.S. (euro14.3 million) worth of gold and precious stones, stands at the lobby of the Emirates Palace hotel, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Thursday Dec. 16, 2010. The hotel's general manager, Hans Olbertz, was quoted in local newspapers Thursday as saying the 43-foot (13-meter) faux fir has 131 ornaments that include gold and precious stones including diamonds and sapphires.
