synopsis:
In a remote mountain village in Cebu, Philippines, a farmer will commit murder, a young doctor will lose her first patient, and a baranggay captain will find a girl, brutally murdered in a cemetery. Within the next few days, a mystery surrounding the entire boondock will be unraveled, and they will have to rely on each other to survive. And so begins the string of horrific events that is Di Ingon Nato, a film by Brandon Relucio and Ivan Zaldarriaga, which accounts the last days of the townspeople, and how they respond to an incurable afflication that can take away the living, as well as breathe life to the dead. Di Ingon Nato is a gritty ensemble piece (Lead by Rez Cortez, Mercedes Cabral, Franco Reyes, and Donna Gimeno) portraying how people cope with the death of their loved ones.
